This event takes place every evening at around 6:00 PM - 7:00PM depending on season and lasts for an hour. Our guide and driver will meet you between 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at your hotel to take you to this mesmerizing event. Besides Arati and Pashupatinath temple, the tour includes observing cremation ceremony on the bank of holy Bagmati River and visiting other monuments within the surrounding area. The Aarati Pooja is basically a day closing ceremony offering light, flower, incenses and other objects to Lord Shiva to whom the temple is dedicated to. The Ceremony is led by Hindu Bramhin Priests amidst the live Bhajana (devotional songs) joined by hundreds of devotees. As the first team to list this unique cultural event to the travelers, we assure you a deeply memorable cultural experience from this short evening stroll in Kathmandu.
